Janus Tarot Spread
Janus is the two headed Roman God whose name is the origin of the name of the month January.
He looks both backward and forward. This is a good quick spread that works very well for regular daily journalling in the early morning or last thing at night.
If you’re using this spread first thing in the morning then draw them like this:
- Card One is a lesson learned from yesterday.
- Card Two is the gift offered today. Or some advice on how to approach the day itself.
And if you’re using this spread at the end of the day then draw them for the following:
- Card One is a lesson learned from today.
- Card Two is the gift offered tomorrow, or some advice on how to approach the next day.
Simple but over time will help you to deepen your understanding of your cards – and yourself :).
